Ancillary Events

Attendees wishing to conduct activities for more than 12 attendees during the dates of, immediately prior to, or following All Souls Con must notify us of such activities in advance via email by August 21, 2020. All Souls Con, in its sole discretion, will determine whether the proposed activity appears to meet All Souls Con standards and requirements and will notify the organizer(s) if the ancillary event is approved. Requirements include:

  • Ancillary activities and events should not compete with the events of All Souls Con.
  • Events must be worded and presented in such a way in which it does not appear directly organized by or affiliated with All Souls Con, and hold the Con and its organizers in no way liable for said event or activity.
  • Events may not be for profit.

Badges

You must wear your membership badge at all times to be admitted to any convention function.

Live Stream

Online Pass holders must NOT share the live stream URL. Recording the live stream is also prohibited.

Online convention attendees are prevented from taking, recording, or creating film, or digital pictures, videos, tapes, sound recordings, or any other visual or auditory recreation of any kind whatsoever, of any All Souls Con guest, member, volunteer, or employee, or of any All Souls Con event, including but not limited to any All Souls Con forum, seminar, session, or performance, for any commercial use, or for the solicitation of funds for any commercial or other purpose, without the express written permission of the convention organizers.

Safety

We pride All Souls Con on being a safe place, where everybody is welcome. Even so, certain kinds of offensive or harassing behavior are not and will not be tolerated. To the best of our ability, we intend to eliminate inappropriate conduct from the convention. Convention participants violating these rules may be sanctioned or expelled from the convention without a refund at the discretion of the convention organizers.

Harassment includes offensive verbal comments related to gender, gender identity and expression, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, religion, sexual images in public spaces, deliberate intimidation, stalking, following, harassing photography or recording, sustained disruption of talks or other events, inappropriate physical contact, and unwelcome sexual attention.

If you are being harassed, notice that someone else is being harassed, or have any other concerns, please contact a member of convention staff immediately.

If, at any time, you feel that your personal safety or the safety of others is in jeopardy, please contact 911. The Police Department non-emergency phone number is 311.

Unexpected Changes and Cancellations

Announced events and guests are subject to change and/or cancellation without notice. Every effort will be made to announce any changes via social media and email, but sometimes last-minute changes will occur.

Videorecordings

During the panels, the use of video cameras, digital cameras and cell phones for filming is not allowed. Violators may be removed from the audience and from the entire convention.
