The real “magic” of today’s age was on display … laboratory tests and data that allow each of us to be timewalkers into the early days of human history. Even as you soaked in the vivid descriptions, and maybe did a little research to see what mtDNA sequence data look like, did you still wonder how can this possibly work? Or can we really know anything about creatures living thousands of years ago?

In this workshop, we will cover “mtDNA 101” focusing on mtDNA inheritance, how it is used to study human history, and briefly discuss human maternal clans. We’ll have to defer to Deborah on witch maternal clans and whether you’re a descendent of witches though!
